Providing Everything You Need
The process starts with a site visit and an initial consultation.
In our meeting we will talk through the process involved in delivering the complete landscape design for your garden. We will take your brief, a detailed description of your needs and how the garden will be used. We will walk around the garden together with you, discussing the requirements and then the designer will need to spend time on their own to make notes and take photographs.
Depending on the size and complexity of the site a professional topographical land survey may be required. A plan of the site is then drawn to scale, to include all boundary walls, existing buildings, features, trees, services and existing ground levels.
We can arrange this for you if required.
This information is then interpreted on a local scale and incorporated into the surrounding landscape design to put into context:
Site survey & analysis, design proposal, rendered perspectives and elevations, contour re-modelling, drainage plans, 3D computer models,
Tendering and construction drawings, planting and setting out plans, plant sourcing, site inspection, maintenance schedules, furniture and sculpture sourcing.
We can prepare full tendering documents complete with construction drawings for any bespoke features, hard landscaping, drainage plans, setting out and ground levels.
These documents will ensure competitive legal tendering takes place
Once the sketch plan has been approved we can begin the design process. We will take you through the concept stages to the final design, using render perspectives and elevations.
The drawings will show hard and soft landscaping, planting areas and lighting suggestions.
We can prepare fully detailed planting plans for all beds to include a bill of quantities.
We source from our carefully chosen wholesale suppliers if required.
We can also produce full maintenance schedules for you.
As part of our landscape design service we can also set out all plants in their correct position prior to planting.
